FAQs
What is mobile trash compaction?
1
Mobile trash compaction is an on-site service in which a specialized truck compacts waste inside your roll-off dumpster to reduce waste volume and create more usable space. Instead of hauling air, you get more capacity out of the dumpster you already have.
What types of dumpsters do you service?
2
“Roll-off” or “Open top” dumpsters (15 to 40 cubic yards). These large containers are commonly used for manufacturing, construction, and industrial waste.
What kinds of materials can be compacted?
3
Mobile compaction works best on bulky, compressible materials like:
Cardboard and packaging
Wood and pallets
Plastics and general waste
Construction debris
If your dumpster fills up quickly, there’s a good chance compaction will help.
How much space can you create?
4
Compaction typically reduces waste volume by 50-70%.
Most customers see significant additional space after a single compaction, often turning an “almost full” dumpster into one with plenty of usable capacity. The exact result depends on your material, but the impact is usually immediate and visible.
Will this damage my dumpster?
5
No. We have a No Damage Guarantee. Our equipment is specifically designed for roll-off dumpsters, and we perform compaction in a controlled, safe manner that protects your container. If any damage is suspected, alert us immediately, and we will make it right.
Do I need to change my current waste hauler?
6
No. Roll Right equipment is compatible with all standard-size roll-off dumpsters used by haulers across the country.
How does this reduce costs?
7
More material in each bin leads to fewer hauls and lower hauling costs. Increasing your dumpster's usable capacity reduces pickup frequency.
What is your route service?
8
Our route service is designed to be completely hands-off:
We show up on a regular schedule
We perform compaction if your dumpster needs it
No service needed = no charge
Partial space created = partial cost
You don’t have to monitor or call; it’s handled.
What is on-demand service?
9
On-demand service means you call us when you need us. If your dumpster is getting full or your hauler can’t come in time, we can quickly perform a compaction to create space and keep operations moving.
Do I need to be on-site during service?
10
No. As long as we can access the dumpster, we can operate independently. We will always send before-and-after pictures to show you the results of our work, without you needing to be present.
When does mobile compaction make the most sense?
11
It’s a great fit if:
You’re calling for extra hauls
Your dumpster looks full quickly
You’re dealing with overflow or downtime
Costs are starting to get attention internally
If you’ve ever thought, “there has to be a better way to handle this,”—this is it.
Do you offer a trial or demo?
12
Yes, we offer a free first compaction. The best way to understand the value is to see it. Once you watch your dumpster gain space in real time, it usually clicks immediately.
